Programming with Thunderbird

Mozilla Thunderbird is an open source, cross-platform email client developed by the Mozilla Foundation. It stores emails in its own file structure, managing message indices and subfolders through proprietary file formats. Thunderbird creates one .mbox file per email folder (Inbox, Sent, Trash, and so on) and keeps these files in the user profile directory, each holding all the messages of that folder in a concatenated form.

Aspose.Email can work with Thunderbird mail storage structures. The MboxStorageReader and MboxrdStorageReader classes read messages from such files, and the MboxrdStorageWriter class writes new ones.
