OneClick PDF Document Generator

Introduction

The Aspose .NET OneClick PDF Document Generator is open source add-on used to generate and export PDFs from CRM. You can design template in word and attach in CRM and generate document as you want. You can use OneClick PDF Document Generator with Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity and Quote Entity. It provides option to Attach the generated document with the record itself and you can download the document as well. This add-on can also resolve option set and look-up fields. In addition it allows you to generate the PDF from the Top ribbon button as well as via a single click button on the form.

Aspose .NET OneClick PDF Document Generator can be used with CRM on-premises and CRM Online.

Major features of this Addon are:

  • Create Template inside word and attach in CRM. (use merge field feature of word where you want to include CRM data)
  • Allow you to add Optionset as well as lookups.
  • Works with Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity and Quote.
  • One click button that can Generate document.
  • Generated documents can be downloaded as well as attached with the same entity record.
  • A ribbon button is also provided to choose the template and generate document.

This add-on will work with all versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 and CRM Online.

System Requirements

In order to install and use Aspose .NET OneClick PDF Document Generator for Microsoft Dynamics CRM you need to have one of the following CRM version

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015.
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.
  • .NET Framework 4.5 or above.

Installing or Uninstalling

How to Install

Importing the Solution

  • Download the Solution File. (Managed if you intent to uninstall it).
  • Open CRM and go to Import Solution.
  • Click Browse and select the downloaded solution file and click next.
  • Click Next and wait for the solution to import.
  • Click close when the solution is imported successfully.

Configuring Web Page

  • Download the source code for website.
  • Copy on server. (Recommended under inetpub).
  • Open IIS. (On server where you intent to deploy website, accessible from CRM server).
  • Create a new Website.
  • Choose physical path and configure website.
  • Browse to check if it is accessible.
  • Open CRM and add a new record under Aspose» Aspose Configuration Entity and specify the Name and URL of the deployed Web Page as below.

How to Uninstall

  • Delete Website from IIS.
  • Go to solution and select “OneClick PDF Document Generator”.
  • Press the Delete button. Press OK for confirmation.
