Work with SmartArt in Aspose.Slides for Python via Java: add, access, remove, and change diagram layouts in PowerPoint and OpenDocument presentations.

This article demonstrates how to add SmartArt graphics, access them, remove them, and change layouts using Aspose.Slides for Python via Java.

Install the package as described in Installation. Each example imports asposeslides before starting the JVM, then imports the API after the JVM is running.

Add SmartArt

Insert a SmartArt graphic using one of the built-in layouts.

Access SmartArt

Retrieve the first SmartArt object on a slide.

    slide = presentation.getSlides().get_Item(0)

Remove SmartArt

Delete a SmartArt shape from the slide.

Change SmartArt Layout

Update the layout type of an existing SmartArt graphic.
