Create and Add a Paragraph Style

Aspose.Words

In Aspose.Words, you can specify a paragraph style using the Font class.

The following code example shows how to create and add a paragraph style:

DocumentBuilder builder = new DocumentBuilder(doc);
            
doc.Styles.Add(StyleType.Paragraph, "MyStyle");

font.Italic = true;
font.Name = "Arial";
font.Size = 24;
font.Spacing = 5;
font.Underline = Underline.Double;

builder.MoveToDocumentEnd();

builder.ParagraphFormat.Style = doc.Styles["MyStyle"];
builder.Writeln("This string is formatted using the new style.");

doc.Save(ArtifactsDir + "Paragraph custom style - Aspose.Words.docx");

Open XML SDK

You can also do the same using the Open XML SDK. At the same time, note that it looks somewhat more complicated and more cumbersome.

The following code example shows how to create and add a paragraph style:
